Day 1 Tirana
Upon arrival you will be met and taken to your centrally located hotel. Remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and enjoy historic Tirana. Dinner and overnight Tirana. Hotel Continental, Hotel Bermon, Hotel Miniri or similar.

Day 2 Tirana
After breakfast you will have a full day tour of Tirana. Your tour includes a visit to the National History Museum, the main square of Tirana known as "Scanderbeg" where you will see the statue of Albania's national hero Gjergj Kastrioti. The square also houses many interesting buildings from the 1930's that are now government offices. Also you will see "Sahati" Tower which is 35m high, the "Ethem Beu" Mosque and the Paleo-Christian Church which was built in the third century. You will enjoy the panorama of the city and the beauty of Dajti's Park which is located on Dajti Mountain. In the afternoon you will enjoy a walk along the main avenues of Tirana. Dinner and overnight in Tirana.

Day 3 Tirana-Kruja-Lezha-Scodra-Tirana
After breakfast in the hotel start your journey toward the city of Kruja, an important historic center. It is connected with the resistance of Albania against Ottomans under the leadership of Scanderbeg. This resistance did not allow the Ottomans to cross The Adriatic Sea. You will visit the Kruja Castle and enjoy a walk around the Medieval Bazaar, where you can find and buy lots of artisan objects. Your journey continues toward Scodra, which is located in the North of Albania. You will be taken on a visit to the city of Lezha, a city that has been inhabited since the Ilirian period (5-4 century BC). Included is a visit to the Saint Kol Church, where there is the Memorial of the National Hero "Scanderbeg". There you can see copies of his original weapons. His original weapons are in the Vienna Historic Museum. In Scodra you will see the large Catholic Church, where Pope John-Paul II put the first stone for its building in 1993, after the end of the communist dictatorship. A visit to the "Plumbi" Mosque building of 1773 and the "Rozafa" Castle, rebuilt in the 14thC on the foundations of the Ilirian Castle of the 2nd century BC are included. Return to Tirana for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Tirana-Durres-Tirana
After breakfast in the hotel you are ready to start your journey toward the 3000 years old city of Durres where you will visit the amphitheater (the only one in Albania for gladiator fighting), The Cap of the Amphitheater, with a parietal mosaic, The Bizantic Wall and the Venetian Castle. In the afternoon you will enjoy a visit to the Church of the Apostul Paul and Saint Asti and a visit to the Archeological Museum. Dinner, live music and overnight in Tirana.

Day 5 Tirana-Berat-Apolonia-Saranda
After breakfast depart to the city of Berat which is 2,400 years old. You will visit the Berati Castle and as you walk through the lanes and as you see the stone houses, the churches and mosques it seems as time has stopped. You will also visit the Saint Maria church, now the "Onufri" Museum. It was given the name of the great painter, who painted the walls of the church as The Holy Trinity and Saint Thomas etc. You will also make visits to the water tank of the old city and the mosques of the castle. After leaving Berat you continue your journey toward the monastery of the Saint Maria in Ardenica. You will visit the Saint Maria church from the 13th century which is known for its marvelous aphresques. Later your journey continues in the ancient city of Apolonia where you will visit the amphitheater, the library ruins, the city's Acropolis and the Archeological Museum which is housed in a 13th century Monastery. Dinner and overnight in Saranda. Hotel Grand or Hotel Meti or similar.

Day 6 Saranda-Butrinti-Vlora
After breakfast depart to the ancient city of Butrinti which in on the UNESCO World Heritage List. You will see the Acropolis, Lion's Gate, Baptist mosaics, the Venetian buildings and the Archeological Museum. Later depart toward Vlora, along the Albanian Coast. You will be taken on a brief visit to the Ali Pacha Tepelena Castle in Porto Palermo. A visit to LLogara National Park which is called "Jon balcony" will also be made. Dinner and overnight in Vlora. Hotel New York or Hotel Vlora International or similar.

Day 7 Tirana-End of Tour
After breakfast you will be taken on a city tour of Vlora and then to the airport. You can extend your stay in Tirana or continue to Montenegro or Macedonia.
